I managed to finish 23rd world cup overall after seven races, it seems the long pedaling sections of South Africa are now one year ago … Mont Sainte Anne was definitely the best track of the season for me.

This is the end … 2011 world cup series are now in the books, what a final ! It was really hard for me to go fast during trainings and qualifying, track was a bit dangerous and so rough. I managed to finish 24th with a violent and sketchy run. Pretty happy with that but not enough to go to these fucking worlds in Champéry.

I finished 22nd in La Bresse, at home. This result was good enough to go to Champéry for a track test with french team before the worlds.

After MSA we went to Windham,NY in the US for the fifth world cup. Track was really difficult for me : short, sinuous, slippery with strange berms. I tried to have fun during practice but I couldn't find a good flow, exactly the same as last year. My qualifying was the worst of the season. I was really scary from my last race there in 2010 with a stupid crash and no ticket for finals. I just came through it with 63rd place and tried to focus more than ever for finals to save some precious points. I finished 38th on sunday, I obviously couldn't go faster and did a very clean run. Again 27th overall for the third time.

I flew to Canada for the Mont Sainte Anne world cup with Nico, we joined as usual the french connection. Track was just good to ride, dry or wet it's always good sensations of speed and lot of fun during trainings. I had a puncture during my qualifying run and was happy to be qualified 49th. I finished 32nd at finals witch is good for standings but not so much for my own goal, I really wanted do to a top 20 in this long and hard race. Again 27th overall for the second time in the year.

Leogang, Austria, the track was fun to ride, muddy but faster than last year. I finished 21st at final, just 0,1 sec from top 20.

Fort William, Scotland, once again the track was rough, really rough, hard for legs and arms, longer than last year and higher level. I took 49th at qualifying with a safe run. Final was faster with a 37th. Definitely the track I dreaded the most this season, I've never finished this race in good condition since 2005 !

I finished 32th in Pietermaritzburg for the first world cup of the season. We spent good times with safaris and bbq. Unfortunately we've not been riding so much, the rain was unstoppable during the first week and the track was not fun to ride. We had really sensations riding during practise in the second week with sunshine and dry tires.

winter training

Winter was long here at home, snowy and icy from november to march. Florent Payet set up his new vocational training called PerFormance Up. He helped me for training and I had the motivation to do sport almost every day. I don't know if I will do great results this season, the five world cups coming require good physical skills. But I'm sure I'll have a lot of fun on the tracks, more than ever.
